Do not use an electric sander for this operation.
A piece of 80 grit sandpaper wrapped around a block of wood will work.
Wood walls are a popular trend again and vinyl planks are a cheap and relatively easy way to get that look.
However it is important that the vinyl covering be roughed up a little bit in order for the paint to adhere to the slick surface.

So oracle is the brand name and 651 is the type.
No matter which tape you use you may have to work a bit to get the masked vinyl to adhere to a textured painted wall.
Since oracle is one of the most preferred vinyl brands to use you see their numbers mentioned everywhere.
In this case it s a permanent vinyl.
Use sandpaper on wall.
On most walls removable vinyl works just fine for easy removal without affecting the paint.
You should use 651 or a permanent vinyl when making car decals.
But in some rooms vinyl has a practical application too.
As you uncover the edge of the vinyl graphic use your squeegee to move along the vinyl and keep it pressed to the wall as seen in fig.
